All packed and ready to go!!!

We packed our art supplies carefully into plein-air backpacks, and then into our suitcases. We are bringing both tube and pan watercolors, acrylic paint, travel palettes, watercolor blocks, assortment of brushes, pencils, pastels, and an assortment of Fabriano watercolor and drawing paper.

Next stop - Rome, and then on to Florence for a four day tour before the workshop begins.

See you in Italy!!!

Wow, that's alot of art supplies.I'm planning on playing with watercolors sometime. When I was Yellowstone I got some Great pictures of the Lower Yellowstone Falls and th Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. It was painted by Thomas Moranin 1871, I think. He used watercolor and colored pencil to paint it.

Thinking about you both. Enjoy your first stop in Florence. Be creative and enjoy the countryside of Italy while the rest of us are dealing with 100 degree temps in Houston..........
