Welcome
Welcome to our blog to travel with us on our journey to the Umbrian region of Italy. Lisette McClung and Kathleen Courville, both art teachers in CCISD, will be traveling to Italy on July 9th to begin a fantastic journey into the study of plein-air painting in a region that saw the birth of the Renaissance. From the 12th to the 15th centuries, Umbria was the apex of the arts, carrying the Middle Ages into the Renaissance.
